Match Report
Cathedral School, Llandaff Girls-U12A vs  Wycliffe College Preparatory School
On: Saturday, 19 Jan 2019
Venue: Away

On Saturday afternoon the U12s travelled to Wycliffe for their second match of the term. The match was played outside, in some very cold and wet conditions. However, this didn't seem to affect the teams performance as they demonstrated some excellent netball, with each player doing their part throughout the court, giving them a well deserved second win of the season. The match consisted of four 8 minute quarters, with CSL showing improvement quarter by quarter, allowing their lead to keep developing. Emma K-S and Emma W were on fire in the shooting circle, demonstrating great technique and consistency to allow the goals to go in. Amy N and Amber L did a fantastic job of creating space and moving well in and around the attacking third, to feed the shooters. In defence we did a great job of marking our players, making lots of interceptions, winning the ball back to go on the attack. Ailsa D-N, Katy S, Janvi P and Paige W did this particularly well, only conceding 3 goals during the entire match and as a defensive unit they managed to keep a clean sheet for two of the quarters which is very impressive. Another excellent team performance again this week, keep up the great work girls!
