Match Report
Cathedral School, Llandaff Boys-U15A vs  The King's School, Gloucester
On: Saturday, 09 Oct 2021
Venue: Away

The injury riddled U15 rugby team unfortunately made too many mistakes to chalk up a victory, even though, arguably, at times, played the better rugby in their encounter with King’s Gloucester on Saturday. CSL started brightly scoring the first try but defensive lapses allowed King’s to dominate territory and missed tackles invited the opposition easy opportunities to score. With only a one score difference between the teams, the second half started well as CSL played with real determination and guile asking some testing questions of the King’s defence. However, chances were missed and Kings’ two dominant players began to run amok. CSL fought to the end and a well worked try scored by Archie T closed the game out. There were some excellent individual performances, but one certain highlight of the game was the introduction of Will H into the back row. A reasonable performance boys that lacked consistency, but excellent spirit shown by all!
