Match Report
Cathedral School, Llandaff Boys-U13C vs  St John's College, Cardiff
On: Tuesday, 04 Dec 2018
Venue: Away

The U13 Eagles travelled away to St John's College on Tuesday for their first competitive match of the season. After sound development since the start of the season the Eagles were full of enthusiasm taking to the field, and despite playing strong opposition, showed a great deal of commitment and desire as they built themselves into the game and grew better and better as time progressed. St John's scored several quick tries, taking advantage of some inexperienced positioning, but the Eagles stepped up and put in some brilliant hard tackles, Bence S, Sam E and Adhit S to name a few. In attack, all of the boys played their part, running hard at the St John's defence and showing great bravery in contact. Most notable was a stunning solo effort from flyer Hugh C, who scored after breaking 2 tackles to complete a 50 yard run in. St John's won 7 tries to 1 but a great show of heart, commitment and robustness from the Eagles, who are keen to further develop their skills and experience in the next game vs St Clare's.
