Match Report
Cathedral School, Llandaff 2nd XI vs  Queen Elizabeth's Hospital (QEH) Boys-U18D
On: Thursday, 12 Mar 2020
Venue: Away

Thursday saw the Second eleven football team take on QEH 4ths. On a very windy day Cathedral looked to play intricate football with plenty of short passes, this was done in the midfield with both Ollie’s dominating in possession throughout the game. Cathedral's defense was tested at times but held firm with Sebastian and Ali managing the shape of the back four along with Harri in goal. It took a while for the players to get a breakthrough but once they did goals started to come along efficiently, with Ollie S scoring two wonderful free kicks, Ben and Will also managed to find the back of the net finishing off some great attacking plays from Cathedral. The final goal came in the last few minutes with Finlay getting a well deserved goal for the hard work he put in throughout the game. The effort and intensity remained the same throughout with the boys showing great stamina and commitment to end up with a well deserved 5-0 victory.

Overall it was a very dominant performance from the Cathedral players, this was led by their captain and double goal scorer Ollie S who led from the front.
