Match Report
Cathedral School, Llandaff Boys-U15A vs  Christ College
On: Saturday, 20 Nov 2021
Venue: Away

Arguably, the U15 rugby team produced their most committed performance of the season when they faced Christ College Brecon on Saturday.

Conceding a soft try in the first few minutes of the game did not dent their confidence and they started playing their patterns and punching holes in the opposition’s defence, quickly getting back on terms, and then pleasingly pushing ahead with tries from Owen P and Rhydian B. Captain, Daf H certainly led the charge, ably supported by Isaac J, Will R and the rest of the pack.

The second half saw CCB come hard at CSL who held firm and, against the run of play, Rhydian B crossed for his brace following an expertly weighted kick from Tom G. Brecon pressed and pressed, eventually crossing for what could be described as another soft try but, considering the number of tackles that had been made by the CSL defence, it would be churlish to complain.

CSL finished the game in the ascendancy, albeit with no further scores.

Fantastic camaraderie, both on and off the pitch boys: well done!
