The U14s played touring side Shiplake in a difficult match. Starting slowly, CSL found themselves chasing the game after the visitors took two early opportunities to score. However, the U14s kept battling away against a strong team and showed some flashes of brilliance, Ryan M and Sam R caused problems out wide with excellent dribbling and good crosses into the box and superb defending at the back from Nabeel H helped steady the ship.

However Shiplake were a well organised team and the score line proved too great for CSL to challenge on this occasion.
