Cathedral School Llandaff faced a determined St Illtyd’s side in a fiercely contested Plate Semi-Final. From the outset, James L was called into action, making several strong saves early on to withstand the pressure and keep his team in the game.

Led by Will M-O and Dylan M, the defence put in a resilient performance, standing firm against St Illtyd’s attacking threats.

The midfield battle was intense throughout, with Josh S and Jack G working tirelessly to compete for every ball and drive the team forward.

Despite a well-taken goal from Jack D, Cathedral fell just short in a narrow 2-1 defeat.

It was a valiant effort from the team, who showed great determination and commitment in a hard-fought contest.
